PROJECT MANAGER
Do you have technical experience and are looking for new opportunities? Maybe you’re our new project manager?
We are currently looking for a project manager to join the growing team at FOX Subsea. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to play an important role in a company that is expanding rapidly. Are you ready?
You don’t need years of formal education, but technical experience from the subsea industry is crucial to thrive in this position. In this role, you will work closely with management and be responsible for overseeing the entire life cycle of projects – from initiation and all the over the finish line.
Your responsibilities as project manager:
Initiate and maintain best practices for project execution:
This means managing all aspects of the project’s various phases, from concept, requests, and offers, to planning and execution.
This could include tasks such as:
- Providing technical support and clearances for project execution
- Commercial project management and control
- Managing and planning equipment mobilizations within the projects
- Managing project staff both internally and externally
- Coordinating and handling project-specific changes with suppliers and customers
- Coordinating offshore personnel to and from location
The projects you work on can be customer-specific, as well as internal, innovation, or support projects.
Documentation handling:
As project manager, you will be partially responsible for producing parts of the documentation package for the projects when necessary. If you do not produce the documentation yourself, you will be responsible for acquiring the necessary documentation through subcontractors or other members of the team.
How to succeed in this role:
The most important asset so succeed is your documented experience in the subsea industry. In addition, you should be familiar with operational procedures – FAT and SIT for integrating equipment packages with third-party equipment.
It’s a great advantage if you have project management or other leadership experience.
An understanding of the market and the customers you will work with is, of course, essential for you to thrive in the position.
Finally, proficiency in both English and Norwegian, spoken and written, is required for this role.
What you get:
- FOX Subsea consists of many skilled people who support both those already here and everyone who joins.
- You’ll have the opportunity to take on a central and important role in a company putting Bryne on the map.
- Competitive terms with good internal career opportunities.
- A chance to make a real difference in an ever-changing industry.
So, are you ready?
